Born in Athens, Mary Katrantzou studied Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design (USA) and graduated with a BA in Textile design and an MA in Fashion from Central Saint Martins (London). Her first ready-to-wear collection debuted at London Fashion Week in Spring Summer 2009.
She collaborated with renowned brands including BVLGARI, Victoriaās Secret, Longchamp, Moncler, Topshop, and Adidas Originals. Beyond fashion, Mary Katrantzou has ventured into the arts, designing costumes for the NYC Ballet and the Paris Opera, among others. Her work has graced the halls of the Met in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Highlighting her career, solo exhibitions like “Mary, Queen of Prints” and “Kaleidoscope Katrantzou” have celebrated her decade-long impact on fashion.
